1953: Founding of the company by the grandparents René and Julie FISCHER-RITZ and opening of a store in the north of the country in Hosingen

1966: Expansion of the store in Hosingen

1983: The son FISCHER Alain takes over the business

1984: Opening of a second branch in LUXEMBURG-GASPERICH with the mother FISCHER-JEITZ Arlette, warehouse still in Hosingen

1986: Death of the founder FISCHER René

1987: Dead of the founder FISCHER-RITZ Julie

1994: 40 years of GALERIE DU NORD

2014: Start of the son’s activity in the family business

2018: 65 years of GALERIE DU NORD

End 2020: Retirement of the parents FISCHER-JEITZ Alain and Arlette, taken over by the son Mr. FISCHER Bob
